JBL Charge 5, like the JBL Charge 4, is a portable Bluetooth
speaker. It has a more balanced sound profile than its predecessor and is
classified IP67 for dust and water resistance, which
means it is dust-tight and can be immersed for 30 minutes in approximately a
meter of water.
The JBL Charge 5's main features include the powerful JBL
original Pro Sound, an optimized long-excursion driver, a separate tweeter, and
dual JBL bass radiators, which provide big room sound even when you're outside.
It includes a 20-hour battery life, allowing you to party all
day and all night. The audio quality is excellent, and the bass will put you in
a great party mood. Its extended life minimizes bothersome work and gives
plenty of replay time, making every occasion enjoyable and lively. You may
connect up to 30 JBL Party-Boost speakers for a loud enough sound for any
party. It looks just as fantastic as it sounds, with all-new colors inspired by
the latest street fashion trends.
Because it is water and dust-proof, you may take it to the
pool, park, or beach. Because it is IP67 approved, it may be used in showers
and swimming pools for up to 30 minutes, as well as on the beach and in
dirt-present places.
It has a power-up function, as well as a built-in power bank. It allows you to charge your phones while listening to music during a gathering or party. The speaker is also compatible with the JBL portable companion app, allowing you to use the party boost feature, connect extra speakers, adjust audio feedback sounds, and get firmware updates.
Let’s compare with its
predecessor…
When it comes to sound, which is the actual purpose of the
product, it is way better than the versions that came out before. The JBL Charge5 sounds bolder than the previous model JBL Charge 4. The dust-resistant is also
one of the new features compared to the previous model. The classic twin
correspondences blasting sensors and dual passive radiators extend from the
sides of the JBL Charge 3. And this speaker has a power rating of 20 watts. The
Charge 4 is rated at 20 watts and received a lot of attention when it
originally came out since it just had a single frontward firing transducer, but
it still preserved its dual passive radiators. The Charge 5 now includes a 30
Watt woofer, a new 10 Watt tweeter that fills the Charge 4's empty area, and
the Charge 5 still has dual passive radiators that shoot from its sides. So the
new tweeter on the Charge 5 is significant because it sounds a lot more open
than its predecessors because the mids are now handled by the woofer and the
highs by the tweeter. Unlike Charge 4, a single transducer does the majority of
the work.
